Dudley and Norman Eshley made a great team in those two episodes. I knew The R&H(D) one very well and couldn't believe it when I saw Handicap Dead for the first time. I did like Dudley as an actor but I must say 'Golden Boy' isn't one of my favourite Sweeney episodes. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/sep/16/dudley-sutton-obituaryRIP

Liz was quite a looker in the day. She's excellent in The Avengers Girl From Auntie and I watched her last night in Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) 'It's Supposed To Be Thicker Than Water'

Sad news, Secret Army (in which Bernard played Albert Foiret), is my all time favourite Wartime TV series, Colditz, would also be in my top five of all time favourite Wartime TV series. I have got many of Bernard Hepton's TV appearances, on DVD, another one of my favourite TV series, starring Bernard Hepton, is The Charmer (1987), which starred Nigel Havers as seducing conman Ralph Ernest Gorse, another TV series (featuring Bernard Hepton), that I have seen on DVD-R disc, is Blood Money (1981), which also starred two of Bernard's Secret Army co-stars - Juliet Hammond-Hill and Stephen Yardley. R.I.P. Bernard Hepton. I'm currently watching 'A Perfect Hero' (1991) where he plays the father of Havers' character, who was an RAF pilot, shot down and disfigured during The Battle Of Britain. I've also seen him play Thomas Cranmer in 'The Six Wives Of Henry VIII' TV series and film. www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/jul/30/bernard-hepton-obituaryRIP

Be great if someone repeated Dear John as a tribute. It's never repeated. Some months ago, it was advertised as being on Drama (!) but they showed Bread instead.

I really enjoyed this one. Two good story strands with the disappearance of Her Indoors and the flag. George was on top form here, as though he knew that it was going to be ok without Dennis. The bank manager was played by Michael Garner, soon to become Geoffrey 'Poison' Pearce in London's Burning and had also appeared in 'Another Bride, Another Groom' in series 3.

It's a good episode with a decent story. The Arthur Ray partnership isn't bad considering this was the first one filmed. Nick Day proving to be excellent casting, even if we were bemoaning the loss of Chisholm, etc back in 1991.

I watched this for the first time since Original transmission. UK Gold didn't show it during an afternoon repeat season in spring 1996, which was When I really began to appreciate the Day years in their own right. A very good episode to start. The newer cast fitting in well with George and Glynn.

He took pity on former 'Coronation Street' actor Chris "Brian Tilsley" Quinten and gave the terminally useless and unemployable actor a job at one of his clubs. RIP Remember when he left Corrie to "make it in Hollywood?" I was told he was in Robocop 2 and gets killed. Back on topic, I was reading about Stringfellow, he seemed like a decent sort really. RIP.

Her final speech in the House Of Lords, when very unwell, was very moving and well worth seeing, not to be political, but she speaks with such courage.

Have to agree with Arch. Blokes in flip flops, sliders, etc is just wrong. I also don't like to see women with manky feet wearing them. Women should only wear them with a good pedicure.

Not familiar with him as not from that area but I’m always interested in local TV presentations and that’s a good tribute on the site.
