Very sad news. An Actor who I have always liked, apart from Heartbeat and Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt, I remember Bill Maynard in many other films and TV series. Just some of the films and TV series (in which Bill Maynard, appeared), that I have seen - The Sweeney (Supersnout), Tales of the Unexpected (A Picture of a Place), which was one of my favourite Tales of the Unexpected episodes, Worzel Gummidge (3 episodes), The Gaffer, Minder (The Second Time Around), several Carry On Films and the film versions of three TV Sitcoms - Till Death Us Do Part (1969), Bless This House (1972) and Man About the House (1974). I have got all of the above titles (apart from Heartbeat), on DVD. R.I.P. Bill Maynard. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5562215/Heartbeat-actor-Bill-Maynard-played-Greengrass-TV-drama-dies-aged-89.html

I voted for Big Daddy, I can remember watching Wrestling (on Saturday's), in the 1980's, I can also remember thinking that all Big Daddy, had to do, was lay down, on top of his opponent, and that was the end of the bout, I can't recall ever seeing Big Daddy, lose a Wrestling bout.
I can remember reading a Big Daddy Comic Strip, in Buster Comic, in the 1980's.

I do like Dogs, but Cats are definitely my favourite animal, three Cats, lived in my home (not all at the same time), in the past, our first Cat, was called Shandy, then we had two more Cats, and they were called Mollie and Ollie, I have got photographs of all three Cats (who lived in my home in the past), on my computer, I have encountered some friendly Dogs, over the years, this Thread has reminded me of some films, which I have got (on DVD), which feature animals. Below, you can see a photograph of Shandy (our first Cat).

I voted for Elizabeth Taylor, I don't think I have ever seen a film (starring Marilyn Monroe), all the way through, whenever I think of Elizabeth Taylor, the following films, pop into my mind - Lassie Come Home (1943), National Velvet (1944) and Ivanhoe (1952), three films, which I have got on DVD. Not even seen Some Like It Hot? Only clips from the film, in Documentaries, I have seen quite a few Documentaries, about Marilyn.

Gregory Peck and James Stewart, are two of my all time favourite Movie Stars, I have seen both Actors, in many films, and have got lots of their films on DVD, I have seen James Stewart, in many Westerns, and of course The Glenn Miller Story, when I think of Gregory Peck, the following characters, pop into my mind - Captain Horatio Hornblower, Captain Ahab, Professor David Pollock and Marshal Sam MacKenna.
I voted for Gregory Peck, just edges it over James Stewart, for me.

A very good episode, which I enjoyed watching yesterday, on ITV4, some good guest stars - Julian Holloway and Mike Reid.
The scenes featuring the Scaletrix track and Terry and Des playing Space Invaders, bought back childhood memories, I have found a Scaletrix game, which I sometimes play online.
I always laugh at the scene, at the end of the episode, where Arthur and Des (with the help of some diggers), sort out the criminals.
Lots of good London locations in this episode, and some Countryside locations, near the end of the episode.

I voted for Dad's Army (1971) and The Likely Lads (1976), will have a good think, before choosing a 3rd film, I like quite a few of the other films, listed above.
I have never seen the film versions of Never Mind the Quality Feel the Width (1973) and That's Your Funeral (1972).
I have always thought the film version of Are You Being Served? (1977), is one of the poorest film versions of a TV Sitcom.

A good episode, which I enjoyed watching this afternoon (on ITV4).
Some good guest stars in this episode - Glyn Houston (Harry), Angela Browne (Lady Margaret Thompson) and Colin Prockter (Stevie).
Thanks to Des (George Layton), Lady Margaret Thompson and Arthur (failing to inform Terry, about Lady Margaret's, problem), Terry, got into plenty of trouble, in this episode.
Lots of good scenes, in this episode, I liked the scenes, where Arthur, was trying to play Golf, with Harry, and the scenes with the fish and Stevie.
4/5, from me (for this enjoyable episode).
