Very sad news, one of my favourite Actresses. I always liked watching Angela Lansbury, in the role of Jessica Fletcher, in the long running Crime Drama series Murder, She Wrote, I have seen some episodes of the series on Sky, this year. Angela Lansbury, appeared in many films, including National Velvet (1944), The Court Jester (1956), Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971), The Lady Vanishes (1979), The Mirror Crack'd (1980) and Mary Poppins Returns (2018). Very sad news. One of my all time favourites, a name that conjures up many thoughts and images - The Wombles, Jackanory, Comedy Songs and lots of films. Bernard Cribbins, starred in some of my favourite films, including Two Way Stretch (1960), The Wrong Arm of the Law (1963), Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. (1966), The Railway Children (1970) and Frenzy (1972). One of Bernard's most memorable TV roles, was Mr. Hutchinson, in the Fawlty Towers episode The Hotel Inspectors (1975). R.I.P. Bernard Cribbins, a true Legend. www.BBC.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-62330478

Difficult choice, I mostly like old films (and old Movie Stars), I haven't got many films, from the past few decades, less than 100, from the 1980's, and just over 220, from the 1970's, the two decades which I have got the most films from are the 1950s (over 670) and the 1960's (just over 500), I will have to have a good think before choosing a decade.

When I heard the sad news about Dennis, today, I was shocked and saddened, for a while (after hearing the news), I went quiet (was lost in thought), Dennis is someone who I have looked up to for a long time.
Just like everyone else on this forum, Dennis has given me hours and hours of viewing pleasure, and will continue to give me many more hours of viewing pleasure, in the future.
Terry McCann, will always be my favourite Dennis Waterman role, when I think of the theme song for Minder - I could Be So Good For You, I think the following thoughts - Dennis Waterman was definitely good for me.
R.I.P. Dennis Waterman.

Been a long time since I have watched this episode (which will always be one of my favourite Minder episodes), but an incident occurred recently which instantly made me think of this episode, one day, I was in Barnwells Newsagents, in Aylsham (my home town) Market Place, and the lady behind the counter, told me that recently fake £20 notes, had been circulating in shops, in the town, and that she had seen some of the fake £20 notes.
After the lady (behind the counter in Barnwells Newsagents), told me about the fake £20 notes, three TV characters popped into my head - Arthur Daley, the Syrup and Shamy.
