Remember him now Definitely a slippery looking Git! I'm sure this question hs been asked many times before but do we know how many of these guys went onto have an acting career in adulthood? Obviously Todd Carty, Sue Tully and the guy 'Robbie?' who appeared in London's Burning but were there many others? Paula Ann Bland (Claire Scott), continued acting after she left Grange Hill, her last acting credit (listed on IMDb), was in 1994. Lee MacDonald (Samuel "Zammo" McGuire), was acting before Grange Hill, and has continued to act since. There are bound to be some other Actors and Actresses, who continued acting after they left Grange Hill.

I voted for Peter "Tucker" Jenkins, Gordon "Jonah" Jones and Samuel "Zammo" Maguire. I was disappointed that Gordon "Jonah" Jones, only appeared in two series of Grange Hill, wasn't until years later, that I found out (via the internet) the reason for Jonah's departure - grangehillgold.wordpress.com/features/drowning-the-truth/

Very sad news.
Worzel Gummidge, is one of my all time favourite children's TV programmes, I also have fond memories of Watching Una, in Give Us a Clue.
Apart from Aunt Sally, Una also played two other memorable characters - Rita (daughter of Alf Garnett) and Mrs. Hudson.
R.I.P. Una Stubbs.

Below is a Press Photograph (which I obtained on eBay). Written below, the words which can be found on the back of the above Press Photograph. Thames Television Thursday 11 September 1980 Minder 9.00 - 10.00pm National Pelmet Dennis Waterman and George Cole return to ITV tonight, as Terry (the Minder) and Arthur (his guv'nor), in a new thirteen-part series of Minder, filmed entirely on location in London. In National Pelmet, Arthur plans to unload some reproduction pottery on the Hon. Jeremy Burnham-Jones (Robert Swann), a Brighton antique dealer who also races horses, In an effort to gain Jeremy's confidence, Arthur arranges for Terry to mind one of his horses, Pelmet, is one of Britain's foremost chasers, and there is reason to believe that someone plans to either steal or injure the horse, Terry is not happy about spending nights with a horse in it's stable, especially as Rita (Jane Carr), the stable-hand, appears to be more interested in Terry, than the horse. Pictured: top left, George Cole as Arthur Daley, to right, Jane Carr as Rita, bottom left, Liza Goddard as the jockey, Jocelyn, bottom right, Dennis Waterman as Terry McCann, as seen in Thames Television's opening programme, in a new series of Minder. Some inaccurate information above, the second series of Minder, wasn't filmed entirely on location in London.

Difficult choice, because I very much like CD's and Vinyl, I have got lots of CD's, LP's, Singles & EP's, I will have a good think. I used to buy LP's (Box Sets) and a lot of CD Sets, from Reader's Digest, now and again, I buy LP's, Singles or EP's, on eBay, yesterday (through the post), I received a Doris Day EP, and today I received 2 Los Lobos Singles - La Bamba / Charlena & Come On, Let's Go / Ooh! My Head. I have got a Steepletone 1960's style Record Player (which can play LP's, EP's 45 & 78 Vinyl Singles, and also MP3's), just like the one, you can see below.
I have still got a Jukebox (which can play CD's), which I bought from Past Times.

Very sad news.
Before my time, but in the 1960's, Ian St John and Roger Hunt, were a great strike partnership, for Liverpool.
Ian St John, scored the extra-time winner, which won Liverpool, their first FA Cup, in 1965.
I have happy memories of watching Saint and Greavsie, from the mid 1980's to early 1990's.
R.I.P. Ian St John.

Very sad news.
Will always be best known for playing Mike Baldwin, in Coronation Street, but before his Coronation Street days, Johnny Briggs, appeared in over 20 films, and some well known TV series.
I have never been a fan of Soap Operas, but Coronation Street, has always been the exception, I don't watch the series, now, but have got many episodes on DVD.
I just looked on the IMDb Website, and I have got 14 films, which Johnny Briggs, appeared in.
R.I.P. Johnny Briggs.
