A true original, a supreme talent and the original Rock ’n’ Roll hellraiser. To this day, Keith Richards has a giant picture of him in his dressing room at every Stones gig.
I remember watching this tv show when it was repeated in the mid-80s for Granada TV’s anniversary and being transfixed:
The sound is very slightly out of sync but the energy and enthusiasm is incredible and the audience lap it up.
He certainly won’t be resting in peace but he will be missed.
