There are some BB (not me, cos I'm not so young but free and single) who might say that living together is out of their control but I agree that it must have another meaning with regards its use in Minder...

Incidentally, do we know the origin of the phrase "case"? Off the top of my head, Terry and Arthur use this to describe Alex and Jim living together, but Terry also uses it when being asked to horse sit several hundred weight of unprocessed dog meat in National Pelmet This one's got me thinking too Wynn. It obviously means to be living with someone or sharing a bed. Total guess here - 'Case of red' (wine) = Bed? As good suggestion as as any BtB... and I've wracked my limited brains and can't come up with anything

I’m not the biggest DW fan oi the world, but his name is synonymous for a time when I’d occasionally catch an episode or two after doing my homework so RIP Terrance 😞

I always thought there was something unnatural about the way he hung from that beam VAT, its almost like he's hiding a line securing him to it... but its still a way up!

Thanks jno... the fact that Harrison doesn't know what they are threw me, but the look on Arthur's face when he asks what they are is classic GC. I too looked filberts up on a couple of cockney rhyming slang websites, but couldn't link the definitions with the dialog.
The mind boggles as to what Mrs Harrison would want the filberts for anyway!

I like the interaction between Arthur and Harrison at the police station, although I'm sure it would he been better with Rycott rather than Harrison. One other thing, are the "half a pound of filberts" Harrisons wife wants him to pick up hazelnuts or am I missing something?

Lady: What are you? Squatter? I live here!Arthur: Oh no, not Harry's wife? I'm afraid you've been blown out my dear. If you will go off with double glazing salesmen, deserting the domestic home, I'm not surprised Harry sold the gaff...Lady: Sold? This is a council flat!

The Walker Brothers were before my time and Scott’s solo work too obscure for me to have appreciated. However, No Regrets is one of my fav ever songs and as a result, I’d only recently checked out some YouTube interviews with him, even though he was somewhat reclusive. I’ll now try and check out some of his solo work... so rest in peace Scott...

One question, in the scene where Arthur is visited by the Hospital financial administrator, why does the patients name on the bed read "J Hills" (I think) Its the name of the consultant/doctor who pops in to see Arthurs pre-op
