I agree - this is one of my least watched episodes & is worthy of no more than 3/5. It just doesn't get me going - and I find the plot a little far fetched at times.....

Another episode featuring a stripper !! ITV 4 would have the hacksaw out again - I think some scenes in this one were filmed slightly later than others - when we see Micky running through the woods at the beginning the trees are in full leaf - a little later in a couple of other scenes there are no leaves on the trees - Arthur is back with the dark green Jag , although he tells Freddie he also has a grey one - Freddie was a good menacing villain - especially being driven around in a brand new S-Class Merc - The shot of the Merc pulling up to dump Arthur out onto the road looked as though it had been "speeded up" - they had probably been instructed by Mercedes that it couldn't be used for any stunt driving !! - The piece with the jackets was a good comedy element - especially Chisholm spotting Mickey wearing one & putting two and two together Yes,that Merc S Class, especially if it was a 560 was serious money back then, closer to a Rolls in money than a Jag!......

I nearly gave this 4 - but decided on 3/5,has some fine moments, the jacket selling etc. I just found it a little far-fetched.....

Similar to me Arch - the 4 I chose were Lee,Bailey,Hicks & Coogan. Let's not forget Paul Whitehouse - not only a fine comedian, but also ,like Ben Elton - it's what they have written for others!....

I chose 4 from the list, and presume it is single comedians - rather than "double acts" as Reeves & Mortimer,Two Ronnie would be there. Also some "lower key" ones like Andy Parsons,Mark Steel spring or mind.

A comfortable 4/5 - series 3 was excellent Think it's been mentioned somewhere before, but clearly the studio flat used in "Bigger They Are" in The Sweeney.

Agreed-wouldn't put my cat litter tray on The Mail,Express or The Scum. I like The Guardian, and agree about Hadley Freeman! Morning Star is a great left wing read, but even for a lefties like myself - perhaps too much sometimes I'd sometimes buy a Mirror for a quick read & used to buy The Independent a lot years ago,but got a bit fed up with its sensationalistic front covers. The Independent on Sunday remained a regular read though

From a dealership if it's a lot of£££'s. I'd happily buy privately,if it felt genuine or preferably,if I knew the person - like a friend or colleague

Now we're talking! A Cabarnet Sauvignon just edges it for me,more consistent, generally. Used to love a Rioja - but they can be a bit heavy. I'm also partial to a Malbec ,I spend a lot of time deliberating in the wine aisle.......

Another top notch 5/5 episode, you can see why series 3 is Minder at its very best! Great cast as well. Loved the location filming of Arthur walking the West End streets. Some nice random motors dotted around this episode, too!

Utterly brilliant! 5/5. A trip to the country- a bit like "National Pelmet" - but better!

Great episode - an easy 4/5. Some great moments & a fine series 3 opener! As one says - I forgot Arthur's "other Jag" a stop-gap. Also,Terry has a nearly new Capri - looked like a 1.6 GL or even a Ghia, but I'm not sure if they made a 1.6 Gaia for too long.

3/5 for me,as per jno's original comments, the subject matter made it the perfect series 2 closer,it was just a little far-fetched & how could Des be in court and want to be so distant from the whole process. Sure Terry was right to storm away from them & Dave,as often the case is the honourable man in the middle,or more justifiably sides with Terry.....

I gave this a 3/5. Not a bad story line & I like to see some character continuation. Nice Merc, too! Just lacking a little something though. George Cole makes this episodes best moments!

I only gave this 2/5,nearly gave it a 3 - but it use doesn't (and hasn't) done it for me,this episode. There are a few decent moments - but it just made Terry look gullible & as for that ending........

Gave it a 4/5 - nearly gave it 3.must have been a slight disappointment to start of series two, after such a great first series. Somehow Terry looked "more 70's" than he did in the previous series, especially at the start - with his haircut & jacket combo. A very strong cast again - but just lacking that something though. Some good location filming in the Lanes of Brighton!👍🏼
