Very sad news.
An Actor, who I have always liked, I recently watched the Minder episode, in which Michael, appeared.
My favourite TV role of Michael Culver, will always be Major Erwin Brandt, in series one and two of Secret Army (my favourite Wartime TV series).
I looked up Michael Culver's credits, on IMDb, and wasn't surprised to find out that I have got many of his TV appearances (in over 20 TV series's), on DVD.
A special mention for two more of Michael's TV roles - Reginald Musgrave, in an episode (The Musgrave Ritual) of the Sherlock Holmes Granada series, and Squire Armstrong, which was a recurring role in The Adventures of Black Beauty (1972-1974).
R.I.P. Michael Culver.

Very sad news.
The UNIT Years, are one of my favourite periods of Doctor Who, I can remember meeting Richard Franklin, at a Doctor Who signing, at the time, he was with Katy Manning (Jo Grant), and like Alan, said above, Richard, was indeed a very nice man.
Day of the Daleks (which featured Richard, in the role of Captain Mike Yates), was my first ever Doctor Who Video.
Another sad loss, from the Classic Era of Doctor Who, R.I.P. Richard Franklin.

Below, you can see a photograph of Shandy (our first Cat).
She is lovely, too. I had a cat jist like her but more black on her nose. She was a rescue (from the neighbours) cat called Sparky. She had a sister called Pickles and I think the neighbours got rid of her through nefarious means. They were a human-to-cat version of Fred and Rose West... Sparky was a madam and spoilt rotten...
Shandy was indeed a lovely Cat, I can still remember Shandy, laying on my lap, and also laying down on the back of my legs, when I used to read Comics, on the floor. By the way, Shandy was a he Cat.

Sad news, an Actor who I have always liked.
I can remember watching The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Sapphire & Steel (which I have got on DVD), on TV, a long time ago.
Three more titles, which deserve a mention, the 1958 film A Night to Remember (in which David played Harold Bride), the 1970's Wartime series Colditz (in which David played Flight Lieutenant Simon Carter) and the late 1970's series Kidnapped (in which David played Alan Breck Stewart).
Colditz, is one of my favourite Wartime TV series's.

Below is an original Press Photograph (which I obtained recently). Written below, the words which can be found on the back of the above Press Photograph. Thames Television Minder Wednesday 10 October 1984, 9.00 - 10.00pm "Second Hand Pose" Arthur (George Cole) and Terry (Dennis Waterman) have fallen out, as a result, Terry has found himself a new job working for Charlie Pope (Billy Murray), a dealer in second hand furniture, in Minder, tonight, written by Tony Hoare, and directed by Roy Ward Baker. The cause of the disagreement was Terry's near death, frozen in a locked cold storage room, according to Arthur, it was just a mix-up in communications, he consoles Terry, as he is carried out on a stretcher, a good rub down with a fresh nurse in a starched uniform, a plate of chicken vindaloo, you'll be as right as nine pins, Terry is not convinced, and wants nothing more to do with Arthur, the next time I see him, I'm going to jump up and down on his trilby, with his head still in it. As Dave (Glynn Edwards), the Winchester Club barman, explains to Arthur, I'll tell you what, he's got the dead needle with you, your relationship is finished, totally terminated as far as he's concerned, you can say his attitude is decidedly frosty. So Terry joins Charlie Pope, who turns out to be even shadier than Arthur. Pictured: Stacy Dorning, as the wife of Arthur's customer Mr Collins, in Thames Television's Minder "Second Hand Pose", on ITV tonight.

It mentions his role in Skorpion which I remember really enjoying when it was on. Quite surprising to see him as one of the good guys for a change. Not much chance of a repeat after all these years, but I wonder if it'd be ripe for a Notwork release - think it's part of a wider series with an ensemble cast? Skorpion, was a sequel (of sorts) to the 1981 series Blood Money, Michael Denison, Daniel Hill and Jack McKenzie, played the same parts, in both series's, also appearing in Blood Money, were Bernard Hepton and Juliet Hammond-Hill, Michael Denison, played the same character (Captain Aubrey Percival), in another series - Cold Warrior (1984), which also starred Dean Harris, who reprised his role (Danny Quirk) from Blood Money.

I voted for Hound Dog, Bird Dog and Digby, I will have a good think, before choosing another two, because the 1950s and 1960's, are my two favourite Music Decades, I am tempted to vote for Lonely Pup (In a Christmas Shop), and I have liked Adam Faith, for a long time.
