Are cover versions allowed - 'Damn Dog' by the Manics ...and what about songs that have dogs barking in them like 'Been Caught stealing' by 'Janes Addiction'? What a track that is. Anyway, i voted 'Snoopy vs The Red Baron'.

Are cover versions allowed - 'Damn Dog' by the Manics No. There were so many tunes with dogs referenced in them I decided to go for arguably the most popular 20 based on chart performances and non-album tracks, ... well, sort of. Nice to see Peter Shelley - Love Me My Dog (1975) has two votes, love it! Woof!

I voted for Hound Dog, Bird Dog and Digby, I will have a good think, before choosing another two, because the 1950s and 1960's, are my two favourite Music Decades, I am tempted to vote for Lonely Pup (In a Christmas Shop), and I have liked Adam Faith, for a long time.

I think whoever voted for Donny Osmond's Puppy Love* should be ashamed of themselves. *Not me I may add as I went for Bowie.

I voted for Adam faith & the Littlest Hobo Theme. What about George Michael -Shoot The Dog (2002) it sampled The Human League - Love Action also there are the singles Florence & The Machine - Dog Days Are Over (2010) which is alright and Jamelia - Beware Of The Dog (2006) which I can't really remember other than it being not very good. My favorite dog related song would be the single from The Levellers - Dog Train (1997)
