No George And Mildred? I remember watching it on a Sunday afternoon some years ago and really enjoyed it. I know it gets a critical kicking though.
Porridge is a great film, even if it lacks the humour of the series.

Though not a fan of the paper, they always did the best obituaries. I was reading this last night and thought there’s no way I’m linking this on the forum. Reads like something found more in the Daily Mail, they did a sour article on Keith Chegwin the day after he died.

Sad news to wake up to this morning. Wyngarde was a superb actor and Jason King will go down as a great character.

He seemed like a Gentleman. I like the interview asking if he remembered the Cup game without the interviewer knowing who he was.

Not all that familiar with her work but looks like she had a good career post Corrie.

RIP Keith.
He played ‘Robin Hood Junior’ in a Children’s Film Foundation production, which can be seen on the BFI player.

I liked the fact that he always pronounced the teams full title rather than what was shown on screen. RIP Tim. That’s a great thing. I might be sad here, but I don’t like the way a lot of companies have officially become the abreviations like NatWest, BHS, M&S etc.

I’m not sure It’s a fact that Bolam blocked repeats. I read the interview where Bewes claimed it, but part of his argument was that New Tricks was repeated a lot. Apart from Dad’s Army, you never see any old comedies on terrestrial TV.

I told his granddaughter on Twitter, how good I thought he was as an actor and she said “that would have meant so much to him”

Always good value for money in his roles. Appeared in Who Dares Wins and GoldenEye on the big screen. A sad loss.

I'm surprised at the average votes for this one. The banter between Terry and Arthur was spot on throughout. Kim Thomson looked fantastic despite the bruise. The story didn't flow as well as it could have done, otherwise it would have been outstanding. I'd rate it 4.5/5

They all had great legs (ignoring Cheryl's cankles) and I wouldn't say no to any of them. They did come across as being up themselves as was previously mentioned. That first record of Cheryl's was as bad as anything ever released. Not heard any subsequent ones but I'm sure they're worse. Cheryl's boyfriend must be buzzing. He was about 14 when he first met her.

Very sad to hear her later years were troubled. She deserved better than that.

It is a brilliant episode. The Holywood T shirt did make me laugh as did Terry's suggestion that Dyer suspected Arthur would be doing an armed robbery with Jack Last. It was a great guest cast, who've been mentioned in previous posts. I liked David Gower lookalike, Patrick Rycart and there was a brief appearance by Milton Johns. This was a great episode for Rycott.
