Batman all the way. Superman was super, he couldn't help but be a super....man. Batman had to work at it. Who wouldn't dream of being totally rich, and use that money to buy the best cars, bikes, choppers etc, and fight crime to get the girls! That's me, where do I sign up. I want an underground base with a secret entrance and a turntable!

Racing across the US on a giant beer run, picking up a hot dancer along the way, winning fights, making wisecracks and eluding the law....... That's what I call cool! Bandit for the win woohoo

I thought this was a really funny episode, Arthur and Terry always bickering, Arthur having to get the last word, Terry trying to keep it straight. The bunch of cockney villains, desperately hanging on to their lifestyle of petty crime no doubt pleased as punch the vicar is playing a mark without actually realising what's under his nose, and the sheer simplicity of their plans for the great 'rockery' escapades ! Chisholm, with his 'knowledge and expertise' being unable to see thru the Winchester regular at the end who all of a sudden becomes a grass on Arthur, and drives off opening up the way for Arthur to restock the vestry, absolute gold, as we all know people like that, too clever for their own good but gullible to the end!

Watched this episode the other night, hilarious that Ray's mum and dad swallow everything Arthur says, and sit there eating tea with the ex convict firmly believing he is Spanish, and so simply do not talk, just communicate with smiles and winks. Totally trusting of our arch conman!
Also, Arthur reeling off the full train robbing team, and justifying himself as not being a grass!, and arguing over his answers. Reminds me of Del Boy when they are playing trivial pursuits at cassandras mum and dads, and answers every question wrongly but totally misses the point and carries on regardless

Watched this episode earlier today, still entertains, especially when Arthur is panicking at the Winchester and the transit turns up in a cloud of smoke, yet big Dai doesn't spot it!
And 'aye aye, it's Donald Campbell' is a classic line!

Ah, nostalgic, what a throwback... nicks Ray's bird and gets away with it, lucky devil. Blondie was very fit too, poor old Ray got played, always the bridesmaid!

I absolutely hate that damned mistletoe and whining cr*p from sir cliff, makes my skin crawl hearing that drivel, rather hear the grandma song than that (but only just)

Hi karin, I'm definitely in the 'real books' thread, just can't get into reading books on an iPad or kindle, much rather have a book and turn pages myself, and enjoy looking through a collection that I've built up over the years and pick out favourites occasionally

I have Amazon prime, I don't know how or why, or where I paid for it, but I have it, and it is good as it seems everything is extra quick, and I get DVDs the day BEFORE they are on general sale it seems. As for the tv, I agree completely, none of the online streaming stuff has any appeal at all, I did trial Netflix for a couple days a few years ago, and there was nothing worth watching on it. However, I will get a fire stick to watch clarkson and co go racist on Amazon in the autumn, can't help myself!

Difficult, but I hear karinB only sells her photos through official sources like Amazon!
eBay is funny though, you can sell any old tat, and it goes for big bucks. When you try to sell something sensible and think it's worth some money, you get muppets trying to buy it for 99p!
Bought some shoes once in a sale for £10 at Ciro citterio in the mall, and a few months later, and couple of wears, decided to sell them, expecting to get £2 or so. They were bid up to £65, and the guy paid extra to post to New Zealand (£17 I think it was).
Did t think much of it, but then a few months later get a message through from him, thanking me for the shoes and especially as he could still smell my feet in them! I was sooooooooo violated and sickened! Still, £65!
When er indoors sells any clothing on there, I take a pic of her wearring it, never fails! Mini skirt 99p, pervos buying cos of the pic, £20! Every time!

Absolutely right. They are a prime example that life does move on, but it doesn't always get better. I used to enjoy browsing the video shop of an evening

To be fair Terry was looking a lot older in the last series so that's probably why Jack Last thought he was a pushover! Yeah, life on the pavement makes you puff your chest out too often sometimes..... as they say, class is permanent in old fighters!

I love how every wannabe hard nut always wants to have some with Terry as soon as they meet him, and whenever they actually get the opportunity, he knocks em all over the place, so funny, and his dry wit winding them up is gold.
Side note, without all that makeup, the video shop girl is actually pretty hot I'd hazard, but a case of butterface while it's all caked on.

Can I not get a time machine trip back, test drive em, and get back to you? Have to say, I can't remember either, but from the photos here, I think had I known of them, my Jo grant obsession would have been a threesome!

Watched it tonight, very good and as someone else said, what a cast!
Regarding the dirty old man, I'm not so sure, the test is, would you let your teenage daughter pop around to see him on an afternoon....... Not so sure he'd pass that test!
