I absolutely love this episode - lots going on with Arthur getting seriously conned by Tasty and his team of misfits Ted & Fred. It's truly great stuff seeing Chisholm vs Rycott throughout this one and they really do make an excellent plot throughout.
Loads of great lines in this one, all of which had me giggling:
Daley & McCann as are good as, holding hands on the exercise yard in the scrubs!
My name is Albert!
Sorry about that Arthur, Ted's as good as gold really but he can get a bit violent if he thinks people are taking liberties. Funny you wouldn't think to look at him but he murdered a geezer once. Yeah, but he had a result, got it reduced to manslaughter. Only ended up getting a five. Just to keep him happy, if you wanna just let me check the doe?
Listen Arfur, you don't mind if I slip do ya? I'll weigh in with my bit now and I'll call around and pick up my stuff tomorrow.
- Chisholm to Jones
i) Frankly Jones I am getting a bit tired of your ineptitude! Jones: Me? What have I done?
ii) I hope you're not going to use that as an excuse for being 4 hours late on duty.
- Arthur to Dave
Your positive pessimism is a constant source of comfort to me!
Seeing Taff on his own drowning his sorrows in The Winchester is classic too and I love it when Dave tells Taff "I am well known for my discretion". Jones seems to fit in to the Winchester quite well in this episode and it is clear he is at ease with Terry & Arthur more than he is with his own guvnor Chisholm!
