Sad news, took em to the world cup and always seemed a decent, knowledgeable and genuinely nice guy when interviewed. RIP Craig

RIP Craig. Good memories of his time as Scotland manager leading us to two major tournaments. I met him on one occasion and as many tributes I have seen he was a very approachable guy.

Managed Aberdeen for a couple of seasons when we were really toiling both on and off the pitch.
Didn't do anything of note for us, and I actually stopped going due to him as his comments on our games to the press and what I was watching were two different things, but I get it now. He did put down good foundations for Derek McInnes to work with when he took over and was on the board of Aberdeen until his death.
Supposedly a really good guy, who went out of his way to help fans in all sorts of ways and his stories really should be made available to a wider audience.
Loved the opposite sex and was always sniffing around ladies much younger than himself, until right near the end.
He used to be portrayed as a doddery old man when he was Scotland manager, but was anything but.
RIP Paw Broon

Good manager for Scotland in the nineties. Qualified for Euros and World Cup. He also wrote a column in Backpass, a retro football magazine, which was always an interesting read. RIP Craig.
