When they set it up for ray to "accidentally over hear them" in the Winchester,is a nice little nod to the fact that ray is Arthurs new minder, they are making out they don't know who he is. It is a subtle little nod to Terry moving on and the change in arthurs set up,but not directly mentioning Terry leaving.

Found this one a bit unsatisfying, to be honest. The weakest of the Season 8 episodes so far IMO. My dissatisfaction probably stems from thinking that the ganging up of the other players against Arthur was all too obvious - and it should have been obvious to an operator like Arthur (even a "Fourth Division" one!)... and from there on it just felt a bit pedestrian.
An average from me.

Having seen this for the first time in a long while, I really enjoyed it. Morley's comment at the end, about a music licence, is wrong, by the way: a spontaneous performance of music, singing or dancing is not licensable, and never has been. (Hence the traditional gathering around the pub piano.)
