Another great footballer passes away, aged 74.
I know a few Man City fans who idolised this guy and If I remember correctly, was there not a banner with his name on it during scenes in the Italian Job?
RIP Colin

Sad news RIP Colin. Seem to be a lot of ex footballers and managers passing away recently...

Superb photos (as always). Loved the one with the kids from the stand holding the Charity Sheild. Just wouldn't be allowed to happen in the post 1992 world of sanitised football.
A pity the fans won't be in the stadium for tonights game as they would have done him proud.

Wonderful memories of watching Colin Bell on Granada match highlights programme on Sunday afternoons in the early/mid 70s. In glorious black & white of course. Particularly remember Colin scoring in a 3-3 draw between City and Utd. RIP.
