I used to like Brush Stokes back in the day and remember him from it.
Wrote the very first episode of Chucklevison too, but only when I read the link that I found out he was a writer.

Sad to hear this. I was fond of Brush Strokes. Good, innocent, amiable comedy. I loved the banter and chemistry between Eric and Jacko. I'm sure I read somewhere that Mike worked as a teacher as well as being a writer. Clearly a very talented, versatile guy. RIP Mike.

Saw him standing on a platform at Euston station once which was ironically fitting as at that time he was appearing in Corrie as Roy Cropper's train spotter chum !
