Guitar pioneer (born in Scotland) Jim Dunlop died this week. Immortalised with his cry baby Wah Wah pedal, used by Jimi and SRV, as well as other guitar innovations, guitarists everywhere owe him a debt of gratitude. RIP Jim

Always favoured his .73mm plectrums over any others I!ve tried.

RIP Jim I totally agree with ace5150, music owes Jim so much. I own two of his wahs, the original Cry Baby and the Billy Duffy wah. I also only ever play with these and have owned, dropped and lost hundreds of these over the years. The only thing that comes close is a Jazz III pick but I always go back to these purple ones as my hands are so big. Jim's contribution to music is endless through the things people use. RIP Jim and thanks for all your hard work sir. Rock on. www.heraldscotland.com/news/17420023.guitar-pioneer-jim-dunlop-dies-aged-82/
