This ISNT to bring politics into the mix, but the lady was very instrumental in securing the London games in 2012. A real feel good factor the whole country shared when we hosted them. Brain cancer is a vicious and particularly nasty cancer. I'm glad she is at peace.

RIP Tessa Jowell. The London 2012 gave us some interesting moments so I would agree it is worth honouring the person who helped bring those games for England to help give the world a refreshing view of what London was like.

She always seemed a decent, fair person and one who wasn’t too extreme in her views and didn’t oppose just for the sake of it.
RIP.

Her final speech in the House Of Lords, when very unwell, was very moving and well worth seeing, not to be political, but she speaks with such courage.
RIP
