The father of gastronomy has left the table. I doubt many here would recognise the name, but he really is up there with the best. Died yesterday at 91 from Parkinson's, often cited as the genius that started the Rouxs and Raymond Blanc, in other words, PROPER chefs! Started the Nouvelle Cuisine trend in the 1980s. Smaller and more simplistic dishes.
