I noticed today that Philip Ko Fei has died. Last week in fact on the 30th of March.
He appeared in no less than 243, predominantly Hong Kong martial arts movies, as well as directing (48 films), producing (24 films), Action Directing (46 films) and Writing (10 films) amongst doing other stuff in the Hong Kong film industry. Often playing bad guys, he was a welcome face to any production and became a key figure in the industry from his humble beginnings as a stuntman (employed because he was a martial artist), working for the Shaw Bros. At one time he was husband to the Japanese martial arts actress, Yukari Oshima.
RIP Philip, thanks for the movies.

RIP Philip
I haven't seen any of his films but I have a friend who might, because he loves anything with Shaolin in there. I also noticed that he was in a movie titled Fist of Fury II starring Bruce Li (yep, not Lee). I think he deserves to get condolences because I'm glad there's someone else who makes Kung Fu films to cater to China since it's a huge country unlike the other popular kung fu stars and directors we know here in Europe. You never know what you'll find in a massively populated country like China. That's what I like about there.
