Never watched Star Wars, any of them, but Kenny Baker passed on today.

Very sad news indeed. He had a career in films that lasted 56 years.
Loved 'Star Wars'. I bet Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) is not shedding any tears.
RIP Kenny.

Daniels, like Mayhew is a nasty piece of work. Kenny was not. He was old school. Would sign ANYTHING and happily chat to Star Wars fans. The other 2 don't and won't.

I saw that TV show, Ace, in which Daniels was open about his disgust for Kenny. He never saw Kenny as an actor. It was truly sad to see and hear.

Hardly anyone would recognise him on the street, but still going to be remembered for playing one of the most iconic roles in cinema history, being R2 D2. One of the highlights of the last Start Wars film was seeing R2 on screen again.
82 is a good innings, but still a shame.
RIP
I never knew Daniels didn't like him much, what a bitter industry it is the movie industry.
