Suggested by: Arch StantonWell, summer is upon us and no doubt thanks to global warming we'll all be sweating buckets. So, how do you scrub up? Is it bath or shower?

Out of practicality I tend to shower. It's probably more hygienic too. It's quicker, it's more efficient etc..
However baths are very good, I do like baths. If you make a real effort at bath time - mood lighting, classy drink, good book, some useful serving girls, my pipe and about two hours bathing time - they can be most relaxing and agreeable. Yes, baths are jolly wizard if you ask me. I'm voting bath.

ALWAYS a shower, purely based on if you have a bath, you wash your face in the same water you've washed your ar$e in. Makes sense.

It has to be a shower - bath is old school as far as I'm concerned, although once in a while a king's stretch out is always worth it.

Shower, who has time for a bath in the morning when you need to catch the early morning Tube to work? Answer: Here come 'The Rubbadubbers' (splish splash) who always seem to be in the bath before they go to work.

Just needed to step outside our door the past week to get a shower. Been raining cats and dogs for a week and been so cold we had to put the heating on. I'm not too sure about this global warming lark. Showers all the way.

Shower for me but agree with jno - some times it's nice to treat yourself to the luxury of a bath, as Ollie Reed discovers when he borrows Frank Findlay's flat in Sitting Target. I notice you've used a still from that very same film when starting this thread which proves the point rather nicely I'd say.

baths are great for achey limbs. As we only have a wet room... a leak in the roof.

That's an easy one: bath. That simple. I don't mind old school.

....will need a cold shower after all that posting.... I was in the bath as I was posting the 15 posts..lol That's multitasking. Don't drop the phone or iPod ! Of course everyone does it, relax in the bath and text or post or search stuff online confident that they won't drop the phone in the water. So you might hang arms over the side while you use the phone, but then you get cold arms so you risk holding it a little closer. Ah it's living life on the edge !

Shower every time. Baths are for birds ! They like to sit there for hours with the candles, and lotions and potions and smelly stuff..
Most blokes - quick shower, in and out, job's a good 'un ! And don't forget to 'splash it all over' afterwards....
Ofcourse, you can always do as I do - and drive 'em wild with the 'Hai-Karate'

Baths are incredibly difficult to get to the right temperature and almost always I used to scald myself getting in them. I've occasionally lost the will to live waiting for them to cool to a sensible temperature... so SHOWERS every time!

In theory, yes, and I do have mixer taps, but I always miscalculate the heat. I find the shower much easier to adjust in that respect.
