Not much of a Bond fan so cant vote, but OCTOPUSSY opening scene features the delightful Page 3 model, Corrine Russell. Don't ask me how I know.......I just do.

Personal least favourite is 'Goldeneye' - the first time I heard that I couldn't believe how high the Bond theme had jumped the shark. I thought Licence To Kill was the first really weak tune but nowhere near as bad as Goldeneye - Tina Turner struts about singing it like it is some classic which makes it doubly worse. I don't think there is a single Brosnan tune I actually like tbh and his films weren't up to much either.

Lani Hall and Sheryl Crowe for me - pretty dire stuff. Anyone voting for Moonraker will be getting a visit from Freddie Baker.

Difficult to decide as I find them all cr*p. They all sound alike , not my taste. Best and nearly only Bond movie I really watched was Casino Royal, but also only after I learned that my current Ford Mondeo had its world premiere in that 2007 movie. Not my cup of tea

They're all pretty dreadful. Add to the list Duran Duran.

Disagree with that pp - as the 80s kid I liked 'A View To A Kill' and 'The Living Daylights'.

I heard that newest Bond theme today.. I thought there was a bird singing with a bloke at first!! Till the person in the car said it was one person.. Totally forgettable with a few Bondian noise swoops chucked in. It might grow on me but on first listen I don't think anything of it, good or bad, just totally throwaway and unmemorable.

I am 100% behind the sentiments expressed in the previous post. Here be it: tinyurl.com/pmx2hng
Even Daniel Craig puts his shades on to disguise himself from it.
Meanwhile back on topic Lani Hall-née-Alpert is running away with this vote ...

Disagree with that pp - as the 80s kid I liked 'A View To A Kill' and 'The Living Daylights'. Yes, agreed. The Living Daylights is the best tune on this list, and good call to not have Duran Duran listed here, as it's one of the best Bond themes.

I was watching the '...sings Bond' BBC documentary yesterday and I never realised that John Barry and A-ha had a minor falling out over 'The Living Daylights' theme, leading to a slightly different album version of the track:

Tina Turner for me. Cannot stand her singing. A few on the list I would chose, but TT tops it for me. The new one by Sam Smith should be a contender also, terrible song.

daz - I agree that the current Bond song by Sam Smith is only typical of the present time, and nothing to get excited about.

Garbage - the appropriately named eponymous option in the list.

Lani Hall and Sheryl Crowe for me - pretty dire stuff. Anyone voting for Moonraker will be getting a visit from Freddie Baker. Moonraker is one of my favourites - especially disco Moonraker, I think I will have to go into hiding. I like them all - but the Garbage one is a bit dull so that is the worst.

The new one by Sam Smith should be a contender also, terrible song. Absolutely awful that song.. I watched Spectre not too long back and had to skip the credits it was that bad! I would definitely have voted for it on here had I not already voted.

I've seen GoldenEye, which was ok, but Brosnan was totally outshine by Sean Bean. Die Another Day is terrible. Awful Madonna theme and cameo. Cleese also awful and the least said about the invisible car the better. I do like All Time High by Rita Coolidge

Missed this one completely. Thanks, Zimbo, for bringing it to my attention. I couldn't believe it, when I first heard Writing on the Wall. After the incredible and so very bondish Skyfall it left me... let's say... puzzled. So my winners are Others (Writing on the Wall) Never Say Never Again followed by The Man With The Golden Gun Licence to Kill They being boring, but not as hurting as the other two, missed the final. Living Daylights: How many clichés of Austria can be packed in a couple of minutes of film? A lot! When I first heard the Madonna song I didn't like it a bit. Now I do. I like the film, the opening animation, Brosnan as Bond, Cleese and the Van(qu)ish. But I like GoldenEye, too. So maybe there's something wrong with me in general. Edit: Oops - "must be 20th Century". So the winners are Never Say Never Again The Man With The Golden Gun
