I thought I'd try commenting while I'm watching the episode. I love the way Arthur compares his storage area of dodgy goods to Harrods. It's also amusing the way he says 'I'm Arthur Daley' like everyone should know his name!.Talk about delusions of grandeur! Great episode so far and I'm only twenty minutes in.

I enjoyed Arthur being left on his own at the cab office. There is a nice level of humor throughout the episode.

A. very entertaining and enjoyable episode with several laugh out loud moments. I liked all the scenes at the news agents and seeing the products. It reminded me of a news stand I knew in 1979 and I'm in America!

George Cole certainly makes the most of his time in this episode. He is great in all the scenes involving the selling of Maurice's car.

I like the way Terry lures Fenton out of his office. Quite clever on his part. The Mr. Booze store sign made me laugh.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. As mentioned Terry has a true job as a Minder for a change..Kenneth Griffiths is great. I like Arthur's pretensions of being a big league wheeler and dealer.

I laughed out loud when Terry says Jack 'could make Harpo Marx talk!' What a great line! Arthur's reaction at the end when he's told about the money is a nice moment int the episode.

When I first learned about Minder the title of this episode convinced me it was worth seeking the series out. It took a number of years but finally last week I was properly introduced to the likes of Arthur and Terry. It was definetly worth the wait. I enjoyed it a great deal. I had the theme tune stuck in my head for quite awhile after words but it was ok because I like it.

Sorry to read this. I just watched his Minder episode for the first time yesterday. I've seen him in various roles but I identify him most with Toby Meres in Callan. Sadly in the US the only Callan available on DVD are the color episodes. He is memorable as the ruthless, public school boy thug, Toby Meres. I especially like the creepy, oily way he said David when speaking to Callan.
