It's sad and a bit scary when your heroes die. Ultravox were my favourite band as a teenager. I went to see them several times in the 80s and also caught their Return to Eden tour in the 00s. I'm still a big fan and have been buying the Deluxe Edition multi-CD sets... Rather ironic that the next one due is 'Lament'...
RIP, Chris, and thanks for all the great music.

I’m a big fan of Foxx-era Ultravox and put Systems of Romance on yesterday after I heard the news. Such a brilliant album that he played a big part in.
RIP.

Sad news, they were a great band. Was only watching the video of “One Small Day” the other week.

RIP. Really sad to read this, have only seen it on here. The press don't seem to be covering his death; they are more interested in telling us how rich Taylor Swift is now...
Still love Ultravox, although have a preference for the Foxx-era, and early Ure-era. Yes, there's 'Vienna' ofcourse, but I have always thought 'Astradyne' is their masterpiece.

Love Ultravox and saddened by this news.
Love both versions of the band, but the 80s version was always my favourite and didn't get into the Foxx led era until later.
RIP

Seems like an eternity since their 2012 comeback album, Brilliant, came out. I liked that one and nearly all their albums. RIP
