Huge shock. I listen to at least one song from the album Violator most weeks. Truly pioneering work and Andy Fletcher was there from the very start.

Terrible news. I'm gutted as they are my favorite band. I saw them twice on their Spirit tour, but never thought it would be their last tour together as a trio. RIP Fletch.

Always been a big fan of Depeche Mode, right from their earliest days. Saw them live a couple of times and it's sad when a band of my generation suddenly starts losing its members. Andy Fletcher was a vital cog in DM and I do wonder if they can really continue without him. If they do, they certainly won't be the same band.
