Very sorry to see that artist Chris Achilleos has died. His early Doctor Who Target book covers were just as important as the books themselves!

Very prolific scif/fantasy artist. His sword and sorcery stuff was used a fair bit by RPG zine White Dwarf back in the 80s.

Chris Achilleos did some fabulous fantasy illustrations. Loads of t!ts and äss. Some of his book covers are fab. Raven. His Kane covers for Darkness Weaves and Nightwinds. The drawing nicked for the cover of the U.K. VHS of Kung Fu movie “Iron Ox Tiger Killer”. Some fab imagery RIP Mr Achilleos.

Loved his Doctor Who book covers. So much better than the ones used for the Americanized reprints. Rest In Peace

Chris Achilleos did some fabulous fantasy illustrations. Loads of t!ts and äss. I remember Dave Langord, UK sci-fi author, saying the late Mr Achilleos had a highly active imagination, or a spherical breasted model.
I like the cover he did for the War of Powers: Istu Awakened (the book was total gash of course).
