Legendary drummer Ronnie Tutt died in October at the age of 83. He's probably most famous for being the drummer in Elvis' TCB band in the late 60s and 70s, but he was Neil Diamond's drummer for many years and played on hundreds of recordings with many famous artists. www.BBC.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58951519I had the pleasure of seeing him play along with James Burton in the reformed TCB band about 12 years ago at an all-day festival in Hyde Park. And if you watch his style, especially with Elvis, I believe he was one of the many drummers on which Animal from 'The Muppet Show' was based. A truly talented musician and I was sad to hear he'd died.

I remember him from Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii. He was a favourite of a friend of mine, also a drummer, and one of his main influences.
