Actor best known as Jim Trott in 'The Vicar Of Dibley' but has appeared in many TV series over the years including 'Minder', 'The Bill', 'Last Of The Summer Wine', 'The Riff Raff Element', 'The Gentle Touch' and 'C.A.T.S Eyes'. He died on 8/3/21 aged 89.

Very sad to hear that Professor Riordan, aka 'Previous', has passed away. 'The Coach that came in from the Cold' was one of my favourite episodes. Trevor Peacock was hilarious as the alcoholic ex-con Arthur employed to record Teach yourself English tapes for the unsuspecting tourists inveigled on board his repurposed police transport coach.
I can't remember the exact line but it was something like "Chapter 4 - Being arrested..." just as Morley arrived in the bar of the golf club...
