Actor best known for playing Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy has passed away aged 75. Had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for a number of years.
Used to often turn up in random episodes of 70s TV series.
Rest Well Sir.

Used to often turn up in random episodes of 70s TV series. Had a semi-regular role as the village elder in Robin of Sherwood. Usually on the receiving end of what what ever dastardly scheme the Sherriff and Gisbourne had cooked up that week.

I remember him from his Robin of Sherwood role as Edward of Wickham - his real-life son also played his son in a few episodes. He can also be spotted in 3 Roger Moore Bond films, 2 of which he played the same character of Smithers in Q's lab scenes.

I had no idea he played Bobba Fett but certainly remember him from Robin of Sherwood and George Roper's "Son". I recall coming home from school one day to find him and a film crew shooting something outside my house - according to my mum he spent half the time chatting her up !
RIP Sir (you cheeky devil)
