Sad to hear this. I think I first saw her in 'Carry On Girls' - there must be very few of the 'Carry On' people left now. She was a glamour model before her acting career under the name Vicky Kennedy and in later life an artist. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margaret_Nolan

I always found Margaret very attractive and I remember picking up on this whilst watching 'Carry On Dick' on TV, and then gradually noticing she was in several more Carry On's over a decade or so. She also had her share of good lines, one in particular during 'Carry On Cowboy'; another crisis had occurred at Stodge City, and the police commissioner turned to his secretary, and said "Miss Jones, can you think of anything we can do....?" Miss Jones, played by Margaret, replied "Why yes, but hadn't we better solve the problem first....!" R.I.P. Margaret Nolan.

I was watching her in 'A Hard Day's Night' just the other day. She was in an awful lot of stuff, she was in 'Ferry Across the Mersey' and 'Steptoe and Son' for instance. Retired and lived in Spain for decades, making artworks out of her old publicity photos.

RIP Margaret Nolan. She was in a few shows and films. I remember she was the art teacher seen on The Great St Trinians Train Robbery stripping down to her stockings and suspenders. She was a beautiful actress.

Looked up her bio not knowing too much about her.

In the 1990s I subscribed to a 'Carry On' fanzine which often had "where are they now" features about some of those who had appeared in the series.
Pre-internet, it was often hard to find any information, and I remember the fanzine merely saying that "Margaret has now retired and lives in Spain".
I must say though that she has just received a good obituary in the Daily Telegraph.
