The American actor with a long list of credits has passed away. On TV he appeared in shows like The Time Tunnel, The Six Million Dollar Man and The A Team. His film roles include Enter The Dragon with Bruce Lee, Joe Kidd with Clint Eastwood and Blazing Magnum (aka Shadows in an Empty Room) with Stuart Whitman and Martin Landau.

A solid actor of countless TV show appearances, and especially legendary cult films like A Nightmare On Elm Street, Enter The Dragon, Tenebrae, and Black Christmas. RIP

Only just seen this. Rubbish news. John Saxon was just always a welcome face in everything he appeared in. He has so many credits, including many European movies. Starring in horror, crime, just about everything. In so many exploitation movies and tv productions. Instantly recognisable to anyone that watched TV/films throughout the 70s and 80s.
I’ve had many great times watching films and TV he helped contribute toward. Gives me another excuse to watch Cannibal Apocalypse now.
RIP John. Thanks for your efforts.

Yes, one of the great cult actors no doubt. He probably loved the variety of work and chose this over and above recurring or lead parts.
He was also probably an actor who could be relied upon to come in and do the job.
R.I.P. John Saxon.

Maybe a bit belated but John Saxon died earlier this month in July. He was well known to play Roper in Enter The Dragon, alongside Bruce Lee. He later went onto appear in movies in more obscrue movie roles such as appearing in A Nightmare on Elm Street and Beverly Hills Cop III and continued making films once in a while, during the last decade. RIP John Saxon
