Yes a good actor with parts in many films. I think it it fair to say that Cocoon is the one people remember him from most.
RIP Brian

A real actor, deserved to be a bigger star. He had a great screen presence. Haven't seen him much in recent years, which was our loss.

Saw him in Death of a Salesman in the West end in 2005, and also on stage in The Field around 2012. Was obviously a fine stage actor.

Quality character actor. Always added a touch of class, even to average fare like Blue Heat. Remember him being really good in Gorky Park.

Brian Dennehy was a very underrated, sometimes type cast actor that I really rated a lot. If his name was attached to a production, that was always a draw for me.
I’ve seen him in countless things. He was just constantly working in TV and Film from 1977 onwards.
RIP Brian.

I always thought Brian would have made a great Quatermass or if they had done a 90's version of Callan, (set in the cold war) as Hunter.
