Alexander Davion, who played Detective Chief Inspector David Keen, in the 1960's TV series Gideon's Way, sadly died on September 28th, aged 90.
Alexander Davion, also appeared in many other well known TV series, including The Saint, The Avengers, UFO, Whodunnit?, Van Der Valk, Secret Army and The Professionals.
Among Alexander Davion's, film credits, were appearances in two Hammer films - Paranoiac (1963) and The Plague of the Zombies (1966).

That's a shame. I liked Gideons Way, but 90 is a fair old.

I do doff my toupee. He was good in 'Gideon's Way. He was also famous for Hammer's 'Paranoiac' which was shot in 1962 and 'Plague of the Zombies which was made in 1965.
Other notable appearances: 'The Saint', 'U.F.O.', 'Perry Mason', 'Have Gun Will Travel', 'The Avengers', Van der Valk, 'Shoestring', 'The Professionals' and 'Dr. Kildare'. He had a 40 year career which included a stint in Hollywood in the 50s and 60s.
