Saturday night TV has been in a dire state for years with these two shows dominating the UK Saturday night schedules. Whatever happened to Family Fortunes, 3-2-1, Tales of The Unexpected and Tidy Beard's crinkly bottom? We have to start the clean up somewhere, the fightback starts here! Thus, death match returns with a simple question this week, which of these two is the worst and needs cancelling with immediate effect? P.S. sadly there's no both button but let's see who's first to ask for it - see that's the point of this death match, you have to pick one!minder.org again asks the questions that the world wants answered.

Awful TV, just awful, can't bring myself to watch either. When X Factor FIRST appeared, it was decent TV, particularly Sharon Osbourne, but like anything Simon Cowell is involved in, it's akin to flogging a dead horse!

I see 'Strictly' is losing, which means it is the lesser of the two evils. This question is clearly which do you hate less?

Strictly was quite decent in its first couple of years but then decided to go for a trashy tabloid style.
I once turned the TV on and I couldn't find the remote control and had to suffer about five minutes of the X Factor. It was a painful experience.

I'd like to put my boot through the TV screen when Strictly is on, and send the bill to the BBC.

I'll go for the X-Factor. Something deeply unpleasant about the no-hopers being paraded to face Cowell's disdain, while the swinish multitudes at home are invited to laugh along. All rather akin to bear baiting in my book. Should be terminated forthwith with extreme prejudice.

Can we have the Alternative Vote system please so I can vote for both?

A lot of the acts that "apply" to go on 'The X Factor' have already been spotted by the production team and asked to go on. They go around looking for potentially promising acts because the barrel has been totally scraped bare. Yes and some of the worst "acts" are asked back just so they can be laughed at again
I have never watched either show as they look rubbish from just the trailers!

I utterly hate the ITV stuff like X Factor. Strictly is okay, but I've had to stop listening to Zoe Ball in the morning, its just endless the talking about the bloody show and constantly having them on as guests.
