The film director and cinematographer has died at the age of 90. He directed the likes of 'Walkabout', 'Don't Look Now', 'The Man Who Fell to Earth' and ' Bad Timing'.

He made some great films during his career. I really like Performance and Walkabout in particular.
A sad loss, he did some really good stuff over the years. His output was always a little different.
RIP Nick.

Two excellent films there, Walkabout and The Man Who Fell To Earth.
Jenny Agutter and David Bowie were perfect in their roles in these classics.
RIP Nick, you've left a great legacy

I think Roeg's finest moment was 'Don't Look Now'. One of the most disturbing Brit movies ever. Superb.

'Performance' was quite compelling at first, but it drifts into banality in its later stages.
R.I.P. Nicolas Roeg. I didn't realise he was so old.

I think Roeg's finest moment was 'Don't Look Now'. One of the most disturbing Brit movies ever. Superb. Saw it nearly 20 years ago - found the ending so shocking I've never been able to watch it again since.
I'd also tip the nod to The Witches. Atypical of his work perhaps but my niece likes it and I found it an enjoyable children's film - much better than average. Him and Roald Dahl make a good pairing I think.

He helped filmed Fahrenheit 451, which I thought was good. RIP Nicolas Roeg.
