Always seemed a jolly and happy go lucky chap. Would brighten up any party. I liked him more than Tidy Beard on Swap Shop, he seemed genuine as opposed to Noel. Always full on and game for anything, who can forget his nude hosting of a TV programme? RIP Keith and Godspeed.

No age. Deserved a medal having to play second fiddle to Tidy Beard.
RIP Cheggers

Rubbish news! Seemed absolutely full of energy (always) and was a British TV icon. Very sad for him to die so young.
RIP Cheggers

Very sad news. Cheggers was a big part of growing up for those of us of a certain vintage.
60 is no age at all.
RIP Keith.

I read the articles that were linked. He sounds like he was a talented and highly likeable guy that is well remembered.

Fondly remembered from my childhood TV watching. Plus I thought he did a fine job acting against his usual type in "Extras", albeit supposedly playing himself.

RIP Keith, was a big fan of his, he came to Victoria Station a few years back (2012) and did Swap Shop live for Confused.com, I took down a Ninja turtle figure I had on my desk at work and did a swap for a box........and won a car.....

I watched the clips that have been posted and it's obvious, when he was young or old, he loved what he was doing and was having a great time. If he had been on tv in America when I was growing up I definetly would have watched the shows he was on.

RIP Keith.
He played ‘Robin Hood Junior’ in a Children’s Film Foundation production, which can be seen on the BFI player.

Yes he always seemed genuine, enthusiastic. And not at all 'up himself'.
And he had his ups and downs.
I went to the Swap Shop 'swap meet' at my town in 1978 and Keith was there.
