"Night Out" was a damn good episode, apart from the comedy Scotsmen and the bar fight.

Sad news. Passed away aged 81 which would have made her 35 in 'Night Out'. I must admit to thinking she was quite a sexy, buxom thing wearing her open dressing gown whilst standing over Jack behind the bar . RIP.

Certainly a notable performance in a standout Sweeney episode.
She was also behind the bar when Arthur goes down Fleet street looking for Ronnie Raikes in 'All about scoring innit'

She appeared briefly, credited but without a character name, in Danger By My Side (1962) which was shown last year on Talking Pictures TV. I only just recognised her.

She's in a few episodes of 1990 I think, playing the landlady of Edward Woodward and Co's favourite watering hole. Given the setting she's probably a state employee rather than running the place on her own account.
Nice obit by the Grauniad - "vivacity" is about right I reckon.

Certainly a notable performance in a standout Sweeney episode. I think most Sweeney fans would agree with that. RIP

Yes it was one of the most memorable episodes.
RIP Mitzi Davies.

While I of course recognise Mitzi from many series, oddly enough it's a TV episode that is now lost that I most associate her with - The Avengers: Toy Trap - as I pored over that one for quite a while when producing an official DVD reconstruction for it.
Mitzi was always memorable though in all the series she featured in. RIP.

Hadn't seen this before. Very sad. As everyone says a standout episode of the Sweeney she was in.
