Probably best known on here for her role as Sara Prince in Stoppo Driver, the actress has sadly died at the age of 75 from a brain tumour. I know her from her role as Carla Faversham in one of the very best Man In A Suitcase episodes, Burden of Proof. She also appeared in The Avengers, Danger Man and The Persuaders! amongst others. I always thought she was very talented and was surprised that she didn’t appear in many more productions. www.theguardian.com/stage/2021/mar/04/nicola-pagett-obituaryRIP.

Saw her in Upstairs Downstairs with Ian Ogilvy the other day. And she was great in 'Stoppo driver'.

Suffered badly with her mental health at times it seems.

Seriously beautiful woman in her day. RIP Yep I always liked her too. Sad times. The first production I think of with Nicola Pagett is the oft overlooked Frankenstein, The True Story. I believe she’s in that The Caesars series, which I have and haven’t watched yet. Need to crack on with that. RIP Nicola.

Very sad and sorry to hear this.
I read her book, Diamonds Behind My Eyes, a couple of years ago, which catalogued her mental breakdown and it was a harrowing read. She obviously battled demons. I'll hope that she is at peace now.

I remember her from her role as Liz Rodenhurst (later Liz Badger) in 'A Bit Of A Do' (1989) a snobby middle class lady who had an affair with her daughters new father in law Ted Simcock (David Jason). She also played one of the main characters in a Roy Clark sitcom called 'Ain't Misbehavin' (1994-1995) where she played Sonia Drysdale a lady whose husband was having an affair and her and the woman's husband (played by Peter Davison) were following them around trying to catch them out. I thought she was really good in both of those productions. I believe after she became ill she stopped acting. RIP.

And she was great in 'Stoppo driver'. You really had the impression she was the brains in that family, and that if it came down to it she'd be tougher than any of the blokes. I'd heard about her mental health issues, very sad.

I think I'll watch 'Stoppo Driver' this weekend; got it on my season one DVD box set (the only Sweeney DVD I have). And I see that they are showing Upstairs Downstairs on Talking Pictures on Sundays - although they seem to be between Nicola Pagett episodes this week.

If memory serves, Wolfe Morris starred alongside her in both 'Man In A Suitcase' and 'The Sweeney'.
R.I.P. Nicola Pagett.
