This Northern Irish actress was best known for her role as Lilo Lil in 'Bread' who was Freddie Boswells tarty redhead girlfriend who had a fierce temper and raspy voice, when her name was mentioned to Freddie's wife Nellie she would always shout 'she is a tart!'. Although Lilo Lil didn't get a lot of screen time in the episodes Eileen's superb portrayal of her ensured that the British public fondly remembered her character. She has also appeared in shows like 'The Bill', 'Taggart' and 'Travelling Man' as well as being active in the theatre.
She died on the 19/12/20. RIP.

I saw that at the time, got more coverage than I expected, but Bread was a huge show back in the day and she and chest featured very prominently in it. She was apparently a translator too before coming an actress. RIP Eileen
