Alan Bradley off Corrie, who famously died under the wheels of a Blackpool tram whilst trying to kill Rita Fairclough.
92 years of age and his face popped up in quite a few series we know and love over the years.
RIP

Yes, indeed - The Professionals, Man In A Suitcase, The Prisoner, The Saint and Special Branch to name but a few. I was watching him only yesterday in Jesus Of Nazareth.
RIP.

He crops up in a lot of things for decades. Dependable actor in British TV and films.

I'm pretty sure it was Mark Eden who was quite a big contributor to the John le Mesurier documentary, 'It's All Been Rather Lovely', that I watched on Saturday.
They were obviously close friends by the way he was speaking.
RIP.

Looks like they were good friends but I think they might have been related somehow too.

Mark Eden was also in an early Doctor Who serial as Marco Polo. Unfortunately, all the tapes are wiped. He was probably the best villain they ever had on Corrie. He started out as an seemingly decent bloke, but gradually became a darker character, committing fraud by impersonating Rita’s dead husband and attempting to murder her. He tormented poor Rita so much, I think the whole country cheered when that tram took the evil Alan Bradley out! Thanks for the memories Mark and RIP.
