Dijon Mustard for me .. In fact any kind of mustard is fine, Colemans, or even (Gasp) American Love Hendersons Northern relish as well. I guess its kinda like Lea and Perrins but I far prefer it , Amazing on scrambled eggs Love a nice gravy as well, southern gravy ala KFC style, does it count as a sauce/condiment? Hmmm 🤔 not sure. I mean you’re using it as a dipping sauce, so I suppose.

Gravy doesn’t count Alan Partridge has stated not a condiment but a hot sauce in one of his radio phone ins. Can’t believe I’m the first person to vote for tartare sauce I have it every time I have battered fish but only had for the first time a few years ago, have been told by Yorkshiremrn especially those from Sheffield that Henderson’s relish is great with fish and chips.

I'm consuming lots of sweet chilli sauce at the moment - seems to go with and enhance virtually anything.

I've just realised, filling in this poll that the one thing I miss now I've cut meat from my diet (since 2018) is mint sauce... Don't miss meat at all but don't really eat anything now that mint sauce really works with. Weird. Most veggies miss bacon or a good burger. I miss a veggie condiment that goes with meat! Haha!

It has to be Horseradish, always goes down a fair treat. As Cpl. Jones used to say "Very tasty, very sweet..."

What drove you to that Alan? I thought about giving up meat once, it was a disaster and after only a few days almost led to murder in aisle five (the sausage aisle at Tescos). A long time ago, in a supermarket far far away, giving up meat was about animal welfare and soppy sh1t like that. That I get, and old school veggies I get. I like animals. But now it appears giving up meat has been politicised and is a trend thing, being forced upon us by a bunch of global elitist fiends and Message spouting, mainstream propaganda outlets. With slogans like: “Give Up Meat, Save The Planet.” “My Body My Choice, Your Body My Choice, Kill All Meat Eaters!” “Stopping Meat Consumption, Stops Racism.” “Anti-Semite, Anti-farming” “I Wear Vegan Sandals, Am Oxford Educated, Never Had A Job, Spend My Father’s Money Attending Marches, Have Never Worked A Day In My Life, Have Zero Life Experience But Like To Have An Opinion On Everything Because I Read The Socialist Worker Newsletter Once.” Err, etc. Or whatever the slogans are. So I refuse on those grounds because I like animals but refuse to be aligned to political durr-brains.

I often add a teaspoon of mint sauce to the pan when cooking garden peas it also goes well with Indian vegetarian dishes I knew an Indian guy who always used the English style mint sauce for his food and tried it myself.

What drove you to that Alan? A desire to make less of an impact on the planet, really, says the chap with a room full of physical media bulging off the shelves... Also for health reasons and to confuse my mother (that worked - she still refers to the mushroom wellington we bring with us to the family Christmas meal as "your meat". Also, when I first told her, she made what I thought was a joke: "But you'll still eat chicken and turkey, won't you?" It wasn't a joke - she didn't think chicken and turkey were meat!).

The naga hot chilli sauce at The Harvester is very nice, especially when dipping in their goujons.
