As much as I feel for the tragic Mazza, I'm going for Liz for the SOLE reason she isn't canonized by a poxy Elton John song.

Monroe as don't think I have ever seen a Taylor film. If it's non acting skills we are comparing then Liz.

This is easy for me. I voted for Elizabeth Taylor. I never got the appeal of Monroe.

I voted for Elizabeth Taylor, I don't think I have ever seen a film (starring Marilyn Monroe), all the way through, whenever I think of Elizabeth Taylor, the following films, pop into my mind - Lassie Come Home (1943), National Velvet (1944) and Ivanhoe (1952), three films, which I have got on DVD.

Looks wise it would be close, but Liz was definitely the better actress.

I think Marilyn was the better actress.
Liz was great in 'The Taming of the Shrew' though. Burton and Liz were on fire in that. They could play fighting spouses really well. Lol
I've been to an exhibition about both of their lives. The Monroe one was fascinating because her best friends/agent, Lee Strasberg locked away all her belongings and clothes for 30 years when she died. It was all stored in a NY apartment. This meant that finally when Lee died and his wife had to deal with all the belongings stored, there was a collection that was amazing. You can't help but be moved by her life.

Both were fantastic,Liz for me was slightly better in front of the camera. I understand your view is Marilyn. It is a close one.

Marilyn by an hourglass figure and blonde bombshell looks that knock me bandy
Liz was good, but the hair colour ends her chances

I’ve had a few jars in the same boozer in Charlton Village as Liz, not at the same time admittedly, so she gets my vote.
