Has to be the Pros. I like both versions of titles. My favourite Pros closing credits are the earlier 'cityscape' ones.
When I first watched the Pros, as a little kid, I couldn't wait to see the ep. where the car smashes through the plate glass window. I'm still waiting !

I wholeheartedly concur with my right honourable friend Mr. Medhurst regarding said car and glass. As a kid this was the most exciting thing on TV ever (arguably even more so than Jay Aston) and it has yet to be topped for me in the 'packing an initial punch' in a TV opening sequence. These days a lot of TV shows seem to lack any sort of opening titles, particularly in the US which is a shame.

Well, I'm not sure about that....but then, there was always Kate Bush, and Kim Wilde..... The Sweeney, The Pros, and occasionally Minder; used the US-borrowed 'teaser' to good effect. These days.......I don't watch tv; because it's all over-produced, glitzty, shmoozy sh__e

This isn’t really a contest for me. The Pros is up with Hawaii 5-O as the best TV theme of all time. Minder and Sweeney are very good but every time I see the Granada crashing through the glass and the guitar riff start it raises the hairs on my neck.
