Does Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in the Marvel films of The Avengers count? Gets my vote!

Linda Thorson for me. Met her a couple of times and she's a really nice lady with plenty of time for fans.

It has to be Purdey for me!
I also like Miss Forbes-Blakeney who turned up for one episode in the Tara King series while Tara was on holiday in the episode 'Killer'. What happened to Linda Thorson that week?!

She was taken ill during the filming of They Keep Killing Steed and was sidelined for a week so when she returned she went straight into the next episode,Wish You Were Here, the bulk of which was complete, but the main crew by that stage were already embarking on Killer so the decision was taken for her to be written out so she could complete the previous two episodes.

Does Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in the Marvel films of The Avengers count? Gets my vote! Ace have you seen 'Under the Skin'? I thought Johansson was mesmerising in that film.. I really enjoyed her performance. Not that it had anything to do with the fact she ran around with no pants on in it!

Diana Riggs legs in the picture does her NO justice at all. Last time I saw legs like hers was on an off-shore oil rig!

Diana Rigg for me, although I suspect Linda Thorson is much underrated.
Arch, I thought Scarlet Johannson was great in Under The Skin as well - an extraordinary performance and she looked amazing in that black wig.

I really enjoyed it, though it's not a film I would begin to recommend lightly.. Some very disturbing imagery. Kind of like an urban remake of the terrific 'Prey' (Norman J Warren).

What about Uma Thurman in that 1998 "box office smash" 'The Avengers?' It wouldn't change my vote. But good point..

What about Uma Thurman in that 1998 "box office smash" 'The Avengers? She is a strange looking, but hot chick if you get my meaning, MIAS? Really think she looks gorgeous on the Pulp Fiction poster.

Joanna for me. But for sophistication and humour Diana Rigg wins it by a nose. Felt sorry for Linda. Nice looking lady who got overlooked by Rigg's earlier episodes. Like mias I had a real crush for Joanna (and still do) but I p####d my dad off when I came home with a Purdey bob.

I think she could have been, if they'd made a decent job of the film. She was one of the brighter spots in an otherwise incoherent shambles. As has been said elsewhere remakes usually don't work because the originals are so much of their time. The Avengers was particularly bad though.

Never watched the film. To be honest if I don't fancy something I won't watch it just for the sake of it. You just know when something is going to be dud so why waste your time!!

True Gary, true, but I actually made the mistake of going to see this at the cinema. I thought the reviews were perhaps being a tad unkind on what might be an enjoyably quirky piece of pop art. More fool me. It was a stinker. Even now all these years later it's still the worst film I've ever paid to see.

Shaun Ryder was in that as well. He might have been better....? He mentions it in his book Twisting My Melon. Claims that his role was heavily cut due to him not being sufficiently respectful to the "stars" of the show. He doesn't seem unduly bothered.

O/T, but that was a good book by Shaun Ryder. He could relate his life story quite well.
A lot of such autobiographies are scant on detail and the chronology is here and there.

I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Some interesting social history in the account of his early years and working as a post man.
