Oh dear, some nasty accusations doing the rounds involving Natalie Wood! "Well known for years....." First I've heard of it, but seems to be gathering pace.

Of course, Spartacus will always head his list of films, but I liked Final Countdown and Holocaust 2000. Paths of Glory is excellent as well Must mention Tough Guys as well with him and Burt Lancaster. This scene is fantastic!

Not familiar with Andy's work, but always sad when a guitarist passes over!
RIP Andy, you're now with some stellar company!

My abiding memory of Nicholas Parsons is during an Oxford debate with Gene Simmons of KISS. Simmons was trying to sound informative, articulate and intelligent. Parsons wiped the floor with him! Sent
RIP Nicholas.

Helicopters truly terrify me. Whenever I read of a helicopter crash, I always think of Stevie Ray Vaughan. You can have the best and maintained up to the minute, but I would never set foot in one. The Leicester City owner had one of the best, meant nothing! RIP Kobe.

Jon Bon Jovi WAS very nice when they first hit it huge, but last 10 years, he's become quite crappy. I suppose when your guitarist quit mid-way through a tour and your record sales have nose-dived, there's an excuse for the behaviour.
Linda Lusardi can get downright snotty when asked to sign any glamour or topless photos, she steadfastly refuses, with a nasty stare. Some people forget what got them there!

When you watch The Irishman, there's a lot of scenes with Al and Bob together. Al wipes the floor with him. He owns every scene he's in.

I remember him with Magnus Pyke on a TV show in the 70s, (Don't Ask Me?) like Magnus, a wealth of knowledge and eccentric with it. Think he was a botanist before conservationist took over. Godspeed David, RIP

I have 2 CDs of theirs, Joyride and Tourism. Very polished and clean pop at its best. The Look live in particular is excellent. This is the version from Tourism. From 1993, so camerawork is a tad dated, but worth a watch, if you can get past the lead guitarists dodgy barnet! The keyboard player whom Marie skips up the stairs to see ended up marrying her. They met on this tour.

Only 1 vote so far for Dick Dale?! Let's have it right, it's because of Pulp Fiction we know about Miserlou, if not for that, he wouldn't feature here.

I heard this on TALKSPORT radio last week. Keith Deller was able to share some anecdotes of the early days with international players coming over, and crashing out at Ollys house, such was the limited amount of funds at the time to put players up in hotels. RIP Olly.

It was a shock to me Gary had FIVE converted Michelin stars. Of course, he didn't brag or boast. If you're class, there's no need too.

I remember watching Clive James on TV in the 80s. Like Ace said it had that Japanese ' Endurance' game show on it. That's the one. Set the benchmark for Reality TV like "I'm a celebrity....." eating nasty things!

Is this official as I've read elsewhere today it's a hoax.
I recall reading that Clive tried to undermine Johnny Rotten of The Sex Pistols in about 1976 on a regional TV show. Rotten wiped the floor with him. Rotten, despite his uncouth image has a very intellectual mind.....patronize him at your peril.

That was a shock to hear. He seemed to have slipped of the radar with his TV and worked more on his restaurants. I remember a guy I worked with years ago who wanted to base his career on Gary Rhodes and even went as far as having the same hair style. 5 Michelin stars is some going. RIP Gary That's the trouble, seasoned and respected chefs get moved on for the new wave of TV friendly chefs. We've lost some fantastic TV chefs over the years for pretty two-bob cooks, most not fit to face Gary's boots! He'd wipe the floor with them.

A shame. Very likeable presenter and a good chef. Had FIVE Michelin stars, but you Never heard him bang on about them! Never up himself like others who came to the fore in later years, no drama-queen tantrums for the cameras either. I have some of his books, no-nonsense and direct, nothing poncey.
RIP Chef
