The voice of Marvin the Paranoid Android from TV's 'The Hitch-hikers Guide to the Universe' has sadly passed away.
He was a very recognisable face on TV and films from 1962. He appeared in 'The New Avengers', 'A Bridge Too Far', 'Solo' (with Felicity Kendall), Adrian Mole, Inspector Morse, Boon, Lovejoy, Van der Valk, Harry Enfield (as Kevin the Teenager's dad), Silent Witness plus 100 other productions.
RIP.

I had to click the link because I didn't recognize the name but I knew him as soon as I saw the photo. Rest In Peace.

Yes, his face is so familiar. His career is staggering as a character actor.

I always liked his portrayal of the music teacher in John Cleese movie Clockwise. A good array of credits to his name throughout his career
RIP Sir

Yes a very familiar actor in loads of stuff. Like others knew his face but not his name, very sad.

He was very good as both Adrian Mole and Kevin the teenagers father. I also remember him in the sitcom The Peter Principle with Jim Broadbent about a bank.
RIP

RIP. The Harry Enfield skits are fresh in my mind. Stephen Moore was extremely natural in skits in that show to represent a caring father who was never meant to be laugh at, as it was a comedy. It was very well done.
