Quality film with loads of exciting sequences. I don't recall this being shown at the Savoy in Penzance but 'Mad Max II' was. I always recall wondering what 'Mad Max II' was about because I had never heard of 'Mad Max'.

THE WILD ANGELS (1966) Peter Fonda, Nancy Sinatra, Bruce Dern, Diane Ladd. Directed by Roger Corman:
This was the first movie to link bikers with 1960s counter culture. It is usually credited with starting the biker movie trend that lasted until the 1970s. I found the movie underwhelming. The plot is nothing great and the main characters are not that interesting. Some members of the biker gang are just plain repellent. The movie may have more appeal for someone interested in motorcycles. It does have a decent instrumental music score.
My copy is part of a DVD set of films directed by Roger Corman. I think it had an individual release. It is Letterboxed and picture quality is very good. The only extra is the Trailer.
