Page 3 model, died yesterday from cancer. A lot of her colleagues rallied around and posed en-masse for an exclusive group shot that was signed for fans raising a lot of money so Belinda could have more treatment. I dealt with Donna Ewin directly to get mine. She even followed up asking if I was happy with it. Very poignant looking at it now with everyone smiling and laughing. RIP Belinda.

A stunner. I liked the page 3 girls, maybe not PC to say so nowadays, but I will never stop enjoying looking and admiring pretty girls.
Belinda was a very pretty girl and 49 is not age at all.
RIP Belinda

I'm afraid I don't recall her - what time period was she on page 3?
Early-mid 90s?

The ones you mentioned were the 1985 - 1988 "golden age" of Page 3. Corinne Russell is also a notable name from this era. Wholesome models with a lovely disposition about them. After this, the new crop of models appeared, such as Jo Guest, Linsey Dawn McKenzie and Belinda Charlton to name a few, but they weren't in the same league as the well known household names we all knew. That said, both Jo and Linsey went on to appear in top shelf magazines, something the Golden Age models steered well clear of.
Erm, so I'm told.

Rachel Garley & Kirsten Imrie were my two favourites along with Kathy Lloyd, but I thought they were all pretty girls.

I remember Joanne Guest c. mid 90s.
IIRC Linsey Dawn McKenzie appeared about the same time - I always thought she was via David Sullivan's empire, rather than The Sun and that she was 'top shelf' from the start.

No, LDM was a topless model at 16. To appear in top shelf publications, the age minimum is 18.
Erm, so I'm told.

I remember when some guy I worked with bought the Daily Sport and they did a huge campaign with LDM leading up to her 16th Birthday where she could get them out legally. Like Jordan I never thought LDM a pretty lass like most other page 3 girls.

Yes that is what I remember about LDM. Her persona and the hype around her seemed closer to pornography than Page 3.

Yes, Ms Elvik* earned her nickname for her fiesty manner. Photographers often came up against her vicious nature, hence she didn't get as much exposure as other names at the time.
*Tracey Rice is her real name

I used to be obsessed with Samantha Fox when I was about 15-16.My room was completely covered with posters.I had her records, pillowcases, scrapbook, outtake snaps which I ordered from somewhere. They were professional shoot photos that obviously didn't make the grade and there was a scar or stretchmark showing on a few of them on her stomach.Yeah, quite an impressive collection I had.Just threw the lot out one day.
There was Debbie Ashby, she hasn't been mentioned.Had a fling with Tony Curtiss I remember.

Looking over the last few posts, Sam, Tracey, Debee etc are still with us. Let's get a thread started if you want to, I'm all for it, but let's keep this particular thread on the passing of Belinda Charlton.
