Nicholas Day as himself presenting Myths & Monsters. A Netflix series which talks about the elements of common folklore stories to explain why society accepts and gets inspired by them. That's him. Could barely recognise him. He presents the show. The posh classy setting, not Minder like but since his roles from Minder, I believe he's been taking on more posh and classy roles over the years, hence why I think he's taken on this kind of role to present in a setting like that.
You'll barely see him, you see him reading out of a book from time to time:
He narrates most of the time as the screen next to illustrations like this:
and HD scenes like these... birdeye view of some icebergs, I couldn't get any better image:
... and then there's interviews with researchers who talk about folklore and why they are common and inspiring before the camera cuts back to Nicholas Day or to his narration. May have to look into more in the series. I think it's decent but only if you really want to rest and not expect any drama or action.
This looks massively inspired by his other 'Murder Maps' series, which if you can receive it is on in the UK on the 'Yesterday' channel.
I wanted to see that. I'll have to check that out whenever I can. I thought they ended that but I'll look out for that. I thought there was some connection between this and Murder Maps. Maybe in terms of quality.
